OctoAI Technologies Corp. is a Vancouver-based proptech company developing solutions for the multi-family real estate and insurance markets. Our flagship product, Eli Report (www.elireport.com), is an AI-powered condo document review platform for real estate professionals that enables them to quickly and efficiently review condo documents, while serving as a resource to help inform their clients. The platform also helps better assess the risk profile of a condo community from an insurance perspective, leading to more informed underwriting decisions.

About the role
We’re seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our product engineering team. You have great attention to detail, learn quickly, are self-motivated and a problem solver.
You will be responsible for improving our product with automated tests, documentation, database query optimization, log analysis and software development.
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance APIs, user interfaces and backend micro-services
- Develop high performance, reusable and secure software with excellent test coverage
- Promote best practices for reliable, scalable, expandable and secure systems
- Design and implement complex processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Related Degree
- 3+ years of experience in Software Engineering
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Experience developing micro-service architecture with Kubernetes and Docker
- Strong to expert knowledge of NodeJS, React, GraphQL and Mongo technologies
- Experience with building end-to-end automation testing, including integration into CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with code reviews and git source code management
Preferred
- Excellent debugging, problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong understanding of architectural requirements and development processes
- DevOps/Infrastructure experience
- Passion for Machine Learning and AI
